You have been asked to see a 45-year-old female patient in A&E who has presented with a burn. She got into an argument with her partner who threw a kettle of boiling water over her. You note on examination that the skin appears dry, blotchy and red and is very painful. There are blisters. The capillary refill is not blanching. What depth of burn is this?
